Like any good story, it starts once upon a time…
It was 2013 in Edmonton, Adam and Karlee were in full-on wedding planning mode. “We were struggling to find the right rental items to complete our vision for the big day.” As they were sourcing items from multiple rental vendors with varying degrees of success, Adam and Karlee agreed that the event rental industry as a whole had a lot of room for improvement.
Fast forward to 2022, Adam brought up the idea again but now the timing was right and so – voila! Half Acre Event Rentals Ltd. was born. The business was started out of their garage and quickly grew to keep up with the rental demands in the Edmonton area.
The La Fontaine’s hold complimentary skill sets which help to make Half Acre Event Rentals successful. Karlee’s years of corporate leadership experience and Adam’s military and skilled trades background coupled with their combined keen eye for detail and customer service is unmatched.
It all began as a labour of love, they strive each day to help in the creation of spaces that allow their
clients – couples, families, companies, and more – to tell their own one-of-a-kind stories.
